” Cut ratio “, is the amount of hair cut out per 100 strands of hair.

ie. A straight blade scissor cuts 100/100 hairs ( Cut Ratio= 100% ) , while the Acroleaf K15 is a thinning shear that cuts out 15/100 ( Cut Ratio= 15%

Design Note:
Pay close attention to the teeth within teeth ( see photo gallery for a closer look ). This sort of detail is what makes Mizutani stand out in comparison to the rest. Often imitated, but never replicated. Your shears may cut smooth, yet not like these. And a lot has to do with how the teeth within teeth are stacked.
