These scissors were created by Leen and Bertus, the renowned barbers behind the world-famous SCHOREM barbershop in Rotterdam, Netherlands. After extensive collaboration with the Mizutani development team, the Schorem Master was finalized at the Mizutani Head Factory, incorporating numerous refinements along the way.

Design Note:
Handle. The thumb ring of this model is the second largest next to the Matelite. Hairdressers who have attended education or convention with large hands and thumb have likely come across this model at our booths. It is key to identify your preference when it comes to this detail as handles that are a right fit can play a role in career longevity ( avoid hand & wrist problems ).

A ” Kengata ”  Blade. A sword type blade where the center is built up for a durable cutting experience and to get through the most dense hair types easily.
